If you or a loved one has been diagnosed with Epilepsy, you probably have many questions and concerns. Epilepsy Durham Region is here to help you. We offer support and information for people living with Epilepsy, their family, caregivers and friends. We are committed to responding to your needs, whether you are living with Epilepsy yourself or your life has been touched in some way by this invisible disease.


The 'Thinking About Epilepsy Program' is a program designed to educate grade 5 students throughout Durham Region on what it means to have a seizure disorder. Students will learn the role of the brain, seizures, causes and treatments for Epilepsy, as well as first aid strategies and how to be a friend to those living with Epilepsy. Below is more information regarding this amazing program as well as a registration form. Register today to make your classroom seizure smart and ensure students are educated to be leaders in our community and compassionate to those around them!
