Try your hand with volunteering for Epilepsy Durham Region!
There are so many ways to volunteer and make a difference to the lives of people affected by Epilepsy. Whether you’d like to volunteer at our Bingo days, helping a family in need, or as a board member, we could certainly use your help and expertise. If your ideal role isn’t listed, don’t worry, we have volunteers who have offered a wide range of unique skills from photography to garden help.
We are currently looking for the following roles to be championed by energetic and passionate people; could you be the one? We hope so!
VOLUNTEER ROLES AVAILABLE:
Wednesday and Saturday afternoons
Located at the Red Barn Bingo Hall – Oshawa
Helping with counting and selling bingo cards
Board Member | Epilepsy Durham Region:
Meetings are held once per month | First Monday of each month 5:30 – 6:30 | Whitby
• Director at Large
• Fund Development Officer
• Media | Marketing Officer
Two volunteers are required to support our office team of two, includes helping with fund raising events, phone calls, assembling packages.
Of course, training will be provided for all of our champions. Lots of fun, tea and cookies available as well!
