Wellness/In-Service Seminars take place throughout the year. When requested, a representative of our organization can meet with selected members of your company or department to provide education materials about epilepsy. Sometimes this is a general health and safety awareness seminar, other times it is to educate fellow employees when someone in the workplace has a seizure condition.

A $250 donation is appreciated from corporations, and a $50 donation is appreciated from not-for-profit organizations and will include an Emergency Action Plan Kit along with your presentation.

A Wellness/In-Service Seminar is typically an hour, but can be tailored to meet the needs of your organization. Topics covered may include:

• teaching strategies
• appropriate response to a seizure
• addressing seizure disorders in older adults
• seizure awareness workshops
