  Just had your first seizure?
A seizure happens when groups of neurons in the brain expel bursts of energy in an unco-ordinated manner. Epilepsy is the tendency to have recurrent seizures. Find First Response Protocol for seizures and information about an Emergency Response Action Plan, as well as many other online resources.

  June is Seniors Month
We salute and thank our senior volunteers! Did you know that seizures may be mistaken for Cardiac Arrhythmia, Alzheimer's disease or transient ischemic attacks? It is important to know the facts. One in 14 Seniors will develop epilepsy.
