make a lasting impact together...
CEO, Dianne McKenzie says, “Summer is a time with family and friends – start the conversation for those living with Epilepsy.
Our Friends & Family Campaign will HARNESS and INFLUENCE and SPARK conversation about Epilepsy.”
Epilepsy Durham Region is excited to launch it’s new Friends and Family Campaign. Can you help? We think we have made it really easy to lend a hand. We would like to invite you to ask 10 of your friends or family members to donate to our Campaign.
It’s pretty simple
- Ask for the donation (only 10 required)
- Complete the income tax receipt in your toolkit
- As a thank you, give them one of our education bookmarks
- Return the completed income tax receipt book and your donations to our office
All funds raised through the Family and Friends Campaign will support the Young Adult Peer to Peer Program at Epilepsy Durham Region. This program empowers young adults who are living with epilepsy by giving them the opportunity to share their stories, and inspire those who are facing similar challenges. The goal of the Peer to Peer Program is to promote an inclusive environment and nurture progress into adulthood. Our innovative services are committed to providing sustainable support, helping young adults with epilepsy to thrive, making our community a better place.
...but there's more
As our special thank you, we will entre your name into a random draw for your chance to win a pair of Blue Jays Tickets for September 12th (value $218.00) for every completed income tax receipt book and donations you return.
If you are a student and are looking for a unique and impactful way to complete your mandatory Community Involvement Activity hours, you can also join our Friends & Family campaign and earn 10 hours for every income tax receipt book that you complete and return! This means that you could potentially complete your entire 40 hours this summer!
Thank you for making a
lasting impact together!
